WELCOME TO CAPE THOMAS WINES
Cape Thomas Vineyards are situated in the MOUNT BENSON WINE REGION, 13 kilometres north of the seaside village of ROBE in South Australia. The vineyard is elevated and provides a panoramic view over Guichen Bay and Robe.
Proximity to the ocean has the effect of moderating extremes of temperature during ripening which is a significant contributor to the distinctive quality of Cape Thomas Wines.
The reds are characterized by deep, glowing magenta colour and big fruit flavours of plums and black currant, while the tannins are quite soft.
The whites are fresh, delicate and aromatic. Flavours range from tropical fruits – guava, pineapple and passion fruit in the Sauvignon Blanc and lime and lemon in the Riesling.
